Still Making Purses

Last year I designed and made these two knitting project bags out of fabrics that I purchased in Guatemala.  The fabrics are handwoven.  The straps are made of handwoven belts.  I purchased the embroideries in Ohio, but they are made by the Cuna Indians from San Blas. 

I added lots of inside pockets - probably a few too many.

This is my first post in several days.  I've been quilting a new quilt for a deadline with the photographer today.  I've also been dyeing my September Fabric Club collection, "Sahara".  Photos of the new fabric will be ready to post in a couple of days.
