I am fortunate to live in Louisville so I was able to see this quilt at the Carnegie. There is no way a photo could ever capture the magnificence of this piece. The middle part glows with light.mthe quilting adds another dimension or feeling of a natural force--wind, water, erosion. I love everything about it.
