Big Week for Guatemala Bound!

It's been a big week for Guatemala Bound!  Four quilts were finished, an older quilt donated, and I'm showing photos of one of the first finished quilts.  Above are two black white and red log cabins in slightly different layouts.  These are the "half" log cabins that only have strips sewn on two sides. 

Below are two more "Block-and-Lattice" quilts, again done in opposite fabrics: one flower block with plaid lattice and one visa versa.  See previous Block-and-Lattice quilts here.  This is a really simple quilt, but I like it alot.  It's a great way to use up smaller scraps.

I used another Leah Day design in the quilting on this one.

We're getting pretty close to the goal of 80 quilts.  I probably have 80 tops, but I have quite a bit of machine quilting and finishing left to do. Wow! Thanks again to all of you who have contributed.  It's amazing to have accomplished so much in a year and a half!
